For three generations, the Roberts Auld have been growing grain on the family farm in Broadlands, Scotts Gap. It began with Granddad Robert’s labour of love after the Great War and continues today as his grandson Rob Auld builds on his legacy, exploring the capacity of this remarkable piece of land.

At Auld Farm, we’re a restless bunch. We keep one eye on the future. We ask ‘what’s next?’ We had to find out if we could craft our grain into something special: the perfect drop of whisky. From the first seeds to the first sip, it’s a pure distillation of God’s own.

This Single-Malt Barley Whisky is grown, distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on our Southland farm.
Rich and malt-driven, it carries depth and warmth, with a rounded palate that reflects both grain and cask in balance.
Drawn from a single season’s barley, it speaks clearly of place, patience, and the rhythm of the farm.
A spirit grounded by our place in the world.
This first whisky release marks a significant moment for our family and our farm. Every step, from seed to sip, has taken place here in Southland.
